Hawtree Creek is the name of a road in South Ozone Park, Queens NY, where Frank’s brother Tom rehearsed with his band when Frank was a kid. After Frank took his son Ian there for the 10th time to show him where he grew up, Ian said “Dad, why don’t we call our band Hawtree Creek?”

And rock trio Hawtree Creek was forged.
